Spiral Mode 3D Prints - My First Vase

So I’ve been continuing to experiment with features of the PrusaSlicer. This project has the objective of creating some light shades for the display boxes in the workshop. The geometric pattern was created simply in SketchUp 2020, exported as an STL and then sliced with the ‘spiral mode’ setting enabled in PrusaSlicer.

Catching the light. An experiment in hiding the typical surface textures in 3d prints. Here a simple geometric skin has been added to the model which makes for a smart finish and almost no visible printer artifacts. Modelled in #SketchUp, sliced in #prusaslicer and printed on the #prusamini. #strawbyteworkshop

Spiral mode prints the bottom two layers of the model and a single perimeter. The fill and top layer is omitted.
