Online Store Updated

Today the Strawbyte Workshop online store has been updated with a new payment feature and changes to postage fees.

From today you will checkout directly within the https://strawbyte.com website rather than via the SquareSpace service. In addition you can pay with a credit-card or debit card on the checkout page, or choose to pay using Paypal as before.

Having shipped over 100 orders over the last 4 months I have reviewed the postage to ensure the charges reflect the true cost of posting out items to you wherever you are in the world. For customers outside the UK this will mean shipping will cost at least £1 less for an orders containing 1 - 4 sets of jigs. Posting within the European Union benefits from lower postal costs* in general and new postal rate group has been created for customers across Europe. Postal charges for customers within the UK start at £0.99 for orders containing 1 -4 jigs, £1.59 for up-to 10.

This review of postal charges has allowed me to keep the unit cost of the jigs at £5.99 until January 15th 2020.

As before my products will continue to be available to customers via Etsy.com.
